About Us

Who We Are

Hello! I'm Jason, Owner at Great Northern Borders. When I learned of a need for another
border option to help upkeep our amazing landscapes here in the beautiful Flathead valley I
jumped on it. I had seen concrete borders before, gray boring buried curbs. Then I saw what
one could do with some creativity to a concrete border and I started Great Northern Borders. I
have a background in building and construction. I have always enjoyed adding finishing
touches and details to personalize a person's home. From working on the framing and kitchen
cabinet design and builds, to sprinkler systems and landscapes. I bring vast experience while
considering what we may accomplish on your project. My desire to always learn and bring my
best to every project I put my hands too is my drive for my new found passion. When I'm not
elbow deep in concrete I keep busy with the amazing outdoor options we have. I enjoy fishing,
camping, boating and all the things that we live in this amazing valley for. I share this with my
wife, children and my current dog count is 4.

Our Philosophy

Never collect a dollar for work I would not happily buy for myself.

I take pride in my skills and I am always looking to improve.

What We Do

Great Northern Borders brings to you a landscape border system that is low maintenance and
long lasting. With our wide variety of finishes we are certain to have something to enhance your
property. Don't see one that's for you ? Tell us, let's come up with a design custom for you. Its
your home, We want to use our skills to bring your inspiration to your landscape. Mowing our
lawns is fun for the first 15 minutes or so, then it becomes a chore. With a new border system
weed creeping under or over the border is all but eliminated. You can mow a cleaner edge
without getting out the weed eater. The mulch and rock stays on its side of the border more
effectively. The border can make those stubborn areas simple again. By softening some lines
and making more flowing curves we can keep that mower moving forward. All this saves time
and energy that is better spent on the patio enjoying your landscape or off at your favorite
outdoor destination. The added value is appreciated for many years to come.
